October 25, 2002 was the date! Exactly since 20 years the name DOEHRER Elektrooptik is recognized for competence, service, innovation and customer support in laser and optic components. Since the start up in 1982 until today the customer is the focal point of our work. Constantly adapting to a changing market we from DOEHRER are always looking for new, innovative and interesting products.Qualified, international partners like Isowave, Lasermetrics and Crystal Systems from the USA, FCC from China or Forth Dimension Displays from England with high class product portfolios contiue to be a must for us in the next 20 years to come.
Here is a short summary of the main ponits in our company history:
- 25. October 1982
Eckhart Döhrer starts a private company for the distribution of optical and cryogenic components.
- 1983
First exhibition LASER 83 in Munich DOEHRER presents as a first nonlinear crystals from FCC, China.
- 1986
Market introduction of the world's first laser based pyrometer "Pyrolaser"
- 1992
The company expands and moves into new, company own facilities in Karlsbad
- 1996
Foundation of the DOEHRER Elektrooptik GmH in Karlsbad
- 2002
DÖHRER Elektrooptik presents Forth Dimension Displays's ferroelectric, reflective LC-mici-colour-displays - the first of it's kind made in Europe.
- 2002
Dipl. Phys. Achim Kolb takes over the position as product manager for "Laser & Optics"
- 25. Oktober 2002
