| In August 2002 we expanded our range of fiberoptical products and added fusion couplers from our partner TOPFIBER Technology from Taiwan. By using a proprietary Micro Heater Fusion Technology (MHFT) – rather than the traditional flame fusion process - Topfiber produces products of the highest quality standard at reasonable prices. Standard products and custom designs are offered. The absence of a flame during the fusion avoids the entry of OH molecules into the glass which usually causes a significant insertion loss.
